Rural landscapes stripped of colour. The forests, lakes and night lights of Värmland rendered in black, white, and a deep blue-black that holds something of the peace and the quiet of nature. Painted from a lifetime of summers on a farm outside Karlstad. The river, the jetty, the spruce forest on the far bank, and the boat trips out onto Vänern.
